I have already rented a car for one month, using now for almost 10 days , very decent staff , flexible and good price. I asked to replace the car i have with another one that have bluetooth and car was replaced few hours after my request I am a happy customer and for sure i will always use same car rental company THANK YOU Brono for the high level of customer experience you and your team provide
So yep ... I do like a review or two when the fancy takes me .... However rarely for the functional and product based items in my travels. Specific surprised me ... We enquired through my hotel at 9.00am for a rental to take me up to Nazare for the day and drop back at the airport. 11.00 a brand new card and two nice guys were waiting in the lobby. I was off by 11.20 and then they were waiting at the airport at 4.00. Another nice guy ...drop off two mins from checkin and we were done.... A well oiled machine and I strongly recommend
This is the main office, so they don't do rentals out of it very often. It's a way from public transit, but easy to reach by taxi. The staff was relaxed and very helpful. The van they provided for our large family was easy to drive and affordable. We appreciated that they picked up the car at our rental house for a reasonable fee, saving us having to drop it off. We'll probably rent from them again.
Just completed my rental with Specific and could not be happier! No hassle at all. These guys were great and dropped off AND picked up the vehicle from our apartment for a small fee. The prices were also very competitive. I will surely use them again on our return visit.
Worst company ever. Do not trust them! My car broke down on the second day. I called them up and they said I needed to buy some ad blue and fill it up. For starters the ad blue is located in the bonnet so i had to find where this was. No help whatsoever from the company. Furthermore i paid 20 euros for the adblue which was not refunded to me so an additional expense. These guys should have serviced the vehicle before renting it out! I also had to pay 10gbp to secure the car and this money hasnt been refunded to me. I've tried to call Andre from the car hire company numerous times but he doesnt answer the calls. Before renting he was very keen to call me until he received the money. Now I've not heard from him since. They are a very disloyal and untrustworthy company. I would sincerely recommend to avoid them at all costs! I wish I could give 0 stars as this is what they deserve.
Great car, exactly what I wanted with the short notice. Car delivery to the hotel was at no cost for us. Price is very affordable compared to the airport fees. Service and communication style was great, very polite, and accurate expectation management. Absolutely recommend!
Good experience overall! Good car. Good service, very convenient delivery to/from Parking 1 at Lisbon Airport even if it costs a little extra but overall price is still cheaper than others. Make sure you have a working cell phone upon arrival - that's how you get to collect your car at Lisbon Airport, they call you! P.S. be careful reading the contract/voucher as there are many POSSIBLE charges/fees that they might add to the rental price: admin fee, cross boarder fee, carwash fee, out-of-hours drop-off fee, etc. P.S.1. also, it would be great if they supplied "Via Verde" electronic toll tag...without it, it makes things a bit more complicated, especially for paying electronic tolls collected in the last few days before you fly out. I believe they do it on purpose so you are stuck paying admin fees later on.
One of the only car rental agencies that will accept debit cards in Portugal. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Prices are very affordable and the car they give me was clean and solid.

Empresa tem dois problemas, raramente atendem telefone e não recebi confirmação da reserva por telefone. Porém, quando me desloquei até a empresa, fui muito bem atendida. Somente nesses quesitos precisam melhorar.

Fiz uma reserva com antecedência de 60 dias. No dia de me entregar o carro, não tinham o carro e não quiseram fazer upgrade. Me deram um carro menor. Não cabiam as malas. Tive que pegar um uber com as malas até o aeroporto e depois pegar o carro. Me foi entregue sujo, com o tanque pela metade e ainda cheio de problemas. Corra dessa empresa. Devolvi o carro antes e não descontaram a estadia.

Loue des voitures pas propre et ou les niveaux nont pas tous été fait. Je prends le camion 9 places alors javais commandé 7 places type Vito avec 1/4 du réservoir je lui rends avec presque la moitié et il ne me consent aucun remboursement...

They were absolutely fantastic, which is rare to find in other business areas, let alone in the car rental sector that is littered with horrible companies that prey on their customers fears or nativity. Getting a car from Specific rent was straight forward and without any attempt of trying to persuedes to buy expensive extra covers. They dropped the car off upon arrival, quickly filled the papers and off we went. We ended up returning the car a day early, they were flexible to accommodate our changes, and even gave us a lift to the nearest Metro station. Ive been renting cars for quite a while but never came across a business that I would recommend more than Specific rent. Ah, I also left my Fitbit in the car I returned and a friend of mine popped in to pick it up, however the garage was closed. Someone actually came in to open the office just to give my Fitbit to my friend. Absolute legends.

Aluguei uma viatura com antecedência de 2 semanas. Foi-me entregue toda suja por dentro e por forma e sem o tanque de combustível cheio, tal como noutras empresas concorrentes. A desculpa para estar sujo foi de que tinha ficado na rua e que eu tinha levantado a viatura antes da hora, que estava marcada para as 9h e eram 8h58. Muita arrogância da recepcionista. NÃO RECOMENDO

Can i give 10 stars??? I havent been WOWED with a car rental company in a loooong time. And i rent often. This trip to Portugal i wanted a premium car, i also ideally wanted to rent an exact model of my choice and ensure the car was actually at the airport and not a car lot a couple KMs away from the airport which you get shuttled to from the airport - this service is tidiest and most times , once you get to the car lot you have a few people ahead of you and you can wait up to 30mins for your turn, not to mention the waiting already at the airport when the rental company you choose is also picking up another customer at the same time as yourself!!! - going with a newborn and a toddler with carseats, strollers and luggage to a remote car lot to then take everything out wait forever and then put again into your rental car... was just NOT AN OPTION for me this time around After extensive research i did online for a couple nights, i believed i could achieve my wish list with Specific.. I decided to give them a shot Specific is a smaller company , which made me hesitant, their prices are a minimum of HALF to 1/3rd on same class cars as the BIG 5 which made me hesitate even more and you cannot fully book directly on their website ... but their SERVICE is second to none!! Within 2 hrs of filling out the reservation online i got a txt from Specific rep Bruno advising me they are in the process of securing the exact car i requested. Minutes after i was then offered 2 CHOICES for that exact car, the regular one and a SPORT model at no extra cost!! i was even told the color of each one. Upon barely arriving to Lisbon Airport i get a call from Specific rep stating she (i cant recall her name but she was great) is at the meeting point waiting for me. (we had JUST left the plane and turned on my phone - so they show up way earlier so you dont wait) At the meeting point we quickly filled out the paperwork no hidden or extra charges, she did not pressure me to purchase the insurance thru them (and i didnt) and even tho i was renting car for 8 days + 4hrs i was shocked i was only paying for 8 days and not 9 like EVERY OTHER car rental! We walked to the car that was VERY CONVENIENTLY parked just steps from the meeting point Inspecting the car was when i felt VERY confident with renting with them. I did not see a SINGLE scratch on the car and would have signed it as being pristine, however the rep pointed out to over a dozen fine scratches, some that even after being pointed out to me i still could not see them! They were that insignificant to me , honestly just ware and tear, nonetheless the rep was the one that alerted me and marked it on the sheet as previous damages - car was beautiful and just shy of being a year old!! Upon return same and better service greeted us from Specific rep Bruno. he had txted us 30min before our arrival to the airport saying he was already there and to text when we arrive at the designated location (again a very convenient parking lot right at terminal door, and he would be there in seconds. He was. He inspected the car, no new damages recorded, checks the gas and i had completely forgotten to fill-up before arriving!!!! i had filled it up the day before but had done over 200kms since. He asked me for 10Euros to top it off - THAT WAS FAR FAR FAR LESS then what i was actually missing, i gave him 20Euros to be at least fair! To finish this beyond amazing customer service, he even brought us a cart to unload our luggage... Comon Lastly i speak Portuguese fluently but all my communication with Bruno thru txt and in person was in English and he did it quite well Will certainly rent with Specific every single time from now on, there is NO OTHER car rental company out there with this level of service commodity, Im not even talking price where they already are clear winners. If your going to Lisbon, Portugal - save yourself money and grief and actually enjoy your vacation by renting with Specific

Probably one of the easiest/best rental car experiences Ive had, Ive never really had a bad one but if I were to return to sintra, Id definitely book with specific again, friendly/helpful guys that work there!
Excellent service from Specific, collecting and returning the car to Lisbon airport was very quick and hassle free, there a were no shuttle buses or waiting in lines like many other car hire firms, just quick efficient handovers at the terminal. The car was clean, new and in excellent condition. I wouldnt look elsewhere if I needed to hire a car in the Lisbon/Sintra area.

I have very good experience with Specific Carrental, I rented 5 cars for me and my friends (big group traveling to Algarve) , every car was almost new, price was good, easy contact by e-mail and phone. Bruno and his friend are very nice. We are satisfied and defenietly rent a car again with them.

Very good price for a very good car - car was at the airport and we were met at departures at the end of the hire. Fuel requirement was to return it with the same amount as at the start - best system
