Terrible service! Rude employee, opened late and at late hours. We showed the message we had received from the insurance company to pick up the replacement vehicle, they said they had no reservation and that we should contact the insurance company, which we did on the street and in the rain because we had to leave. Europcar de Torres Novas - Nothing good to say about the experience.

Today I went to this Torres Novas center to pick up a vehicle from my insurance company. The service was terrible. They asked for a driver's license, citizen card, and a deposit. Everything was normal up until then. The only deposit they required was a credit card. I said I only had cash or an ATM. I don't think everyone has or wants that type of card. I also said that they could return the deposit after making sure that there was no Via Verde to pay. In short, I left without a vehicle, even though I was entitled to one, as I said, paid for by the insurance company. The only service was that not all centers are the same. My insurance company booked me with another rent a car with 5* service. I thank the insurance company for their effort.

The woman who works here, is very friendly and goes the extra mile to help out and explain everything! I’m very satisfied with the customer service. The truck was in good shape and worked perfect. Good price as well! Will come here if I need a truck again. Ps: I read some of the negative reviews and I could not disagree more. Maybe it’s from entitled people who don’t know how to talk to other fellow humans? Working in the service industry I know how entitled people can be.

Our experience can only be described as fantastic. Tatiana treated us extremely professionally and cordially. She was able to arrange a car for us in a very short time (Audi A1). She also speaks perfect English, a real winner. During our trip we could always contact her for questions (during office hours, of course 😜) EuropCar can be proud to have her as a representative for their company.

Terrible service, arrogant, rude and unserious employee - avoid. I will explain what happened to make this review: On September 16, 2024, I received a message from my insurance company at 9:30 am to pick up a vehicle at 10:30 am at Europcar in Torres Novas. As I did not have the opportunity at that time, as I was not close by and my car was broken down, I arrived at 12:40 pm (20 minutes before closing for lunch). The employee arrogantly and unfriendly refused to serve me because they closed at 1 pm, only delivered cars until 12:30 pm and the car had been washed - I could only pick it up at 2:30 pm at the earliest, as she claimed that she would have to have arrived at the time set by the company (10:30 am) and the car was no longer there. Since I live far away, I asked if there was any way to make things easier for me, but she refused, because she had to close at 1pm (later, I found out that the lady had a birthday lunch) and said that she didn't know if my bank card would work (because I would have to leave it with the rent a car company - which I found strange - and they didn't accept any card). I asked for a complaints book, but she refused. With my insistence and that of my wife, she gave in and gave me the book, but told me that I could only write until 1pm, after which I would have to leave. When 1pm arrived, and after several arrogant and almost insulting comments while I was making the complaint, she told me either to leave or to lock myself in the store. I said that I would finish the complaint and would only leave then. When she threatened me, she told me to call the police. And so she did. I finished the complaint at 1:05pm. At that point, the lady left the store and went to meet a lady who was in a car outside and left me alone inside the store, so that I wouldn't be inside the store. I went to the entrance and the lady came towards me and pushed me out. When I said that I couldn't do it (push) and grabbed the door that she was closing against me, I told the lady outside that I had attacked her and told her that she would be my witness against me, when the lady wasn't even looking and I didn't even touch her. The police arrived and each of us gave our version. From what I understand, there are cameras inside the store and in a nearby bank that can corroborate that I didn't touch the lady and my version. The insurance company also informed me that the time they gave me was the time from which I could pick up the car. Therefore, I advise you to avoid going to this car rental company, if you don't want to have problems like these.

I had an excellent experience renting a car with Europcar. They gave me a vehicle in perfect condition, super careful and with very low mileage. The car performed wonderfully throughout the trip, giving me a comfortable and safe drive. Also, I want to highlight Tatiana's attention. She was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional at all times. Their customer service couldn't be better. I will definitely rent with Europcar again in the future. Thank you for such a positive experience!

Really poor customer service by the lady there. Left very unhappy and will not return at all. No customer service at all by her.

The blonde woman who served me was rude and somewhat aggressive. It was an unpleasant experience. Hugely different compared to the great service I received at the Europcar office at Lisbon airport.
