We specifically chose smaller car rental companies for our stay on Pico and Sao Jorge in September 2024. And it was the best thing we could have done. Juliana offers an outstanding service and is very professional. Communication was fast and clear. There were no last-minute quibbles and charges - something we'd seen from reviews on other companies was a real risk. We were so happy with Juliana's car rental company - and would definitely use them again.

Excellent experience. Smooth booking, pick up, and drop off. They also rent scooters, just ask when you meet them at the airport. Juliana was awesome. I was able to WhatsApp her anytime with questions.

Such a great car rental, car was in great shape, pick up and drop off were so easy. Bruno who we dealt with was super professional and friendly. Fantastic car rental company! We rented cars for Pico island and for São Jorge island. Very well organized, reliable and always on time. The team are super friendly and efficient, the cars were great. I would strongly recommend them for anyone’s trip to the Azores!

I have had numerous experiences with different car rental agencies in São Jorge, Juliana from Azores By Car agency is by far the best. Currently they are updating their website so don’t be discouraged and give them a call. It’s so nice to speak to a human sometimes and this personal service you feel as a customer. The car was clean, good quality. The the pick up and drop off the most convenient I have experienced.

Most efficient rent a car in the Azores (I tried 5 in two weeks). When we arrived at the ferry station they were already there, in 2 minutes I signed the docs, took the photos of the car (recommended by them!) and paid! The car was perfect, nearly brand new. I highly recommend them (an applause to the girl that treat us very well and in a super efficient and professional way!)

Great service! Lower prices than other bigger rentals and very new car; we had a brand new Peugeot 208. Antonio, the owner, is very friendly and super flexible pick up and drop off times. If you wish to go around this island you need a car and I sincerely advise to rent it with them! Obrigadissimo!!
